FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I add a story?

There are two simple ways to thank a Rite Aid associate who has made it personal for you:

  1. Upload your story to our website by following the instructions on the site and outlined below:

    • Click the “Add Your Story” button on any page of the site

    • Write your story in the text box
Tip: If you plan to add a video, just give us a short title or summary

    • You can either finish your story by clicking the “Finish your story” button, or add a photo or video from your computer or mobile device
Tip: If you add a photo, try applying one of our filters to enhance your image!

    • Complete the form so we can email you when your story has been published
Tip: You can look up your store by zip code – it will help us notify the associate of your appreciation!

  2. Post your story on your public Twitter account using #MakeItPersonal and we’ll pull it onto the site!

Why was my story not published on the website?

If your story is not published, we’ll send you an email with the reason we were not able to add it to the site, and an opportunity to add another story.

Reasons a story may not be published include (but are not limited to):

  • The story is not about a positive experience with a Rite Aid associate
  • Please note: we value your feedback and want to hear about all experiences, negative and positive, you may have in our stores or with an associate so that we can continue to improve. Please visit www.riteaid.com/customer-support/contact-us or call us at 1-800-RITE AID (1-800-748-3243) to report any issues you may experience while shopping at Rite Aid.
  • The use of profanity
  • The use of an inappropriate image or video

How many stories can I submit?

We encourage you to submit a story any time one of our associates goes above and beyond to #MakeItPersonal for you – there is no limit!

How do I find my story again?

Once your story is approved, we will send you an email with a unique link to access your individual story. Clicking this link will allow you to return directly to your story any time you wish so that you can easily view and share!

What does #MakeItPersonal mean?

At Rite Aid, we strive to make every experience within our stores a meaningful, personal one. It is our tagline, and it is at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we created this site – so that customers like you can let our associates know when they have gone above and beyond. Whether it was an act as big as saving you money on your prescription or as small as making you smile on a tough day, we want our associates to know that they are making a difference.
